What differentiates Microsoft Viva Connections from other similar products?

The main strength is seamless integration with other Microsoft office apps. In particular, with SharePoint online as I own an internal knowledge sharing site and viva connections make it easy to engage colleagues across the world with discussions, polls etc. further integration with Teams is a real benefit that makes the Microsoft platform the best there is, in my opinion

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Effortless integration across office apps. I can easily switch into a Teams chat and view the org chart

What do you dislike most about this product?

Digging a bit deeper the features aren’t helpful for me nor unique. I don’t like the graphic style so much

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

A no brainer if you are using office 365 already. It’s the lowest friction route

I did used to pay for typeform because it was pretty and then i realized i'm paying for aesthetics that actually don't serve any real purpose. google forms is by far the best because it's all about the data. it is simply functional, unlike the one above. you have everything without the expensive overhead. it’s integrated with my drive, so all my forms are in folders same as my documents.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Sharing is extremely easyBasically. i can easily link to the player or simply embed it in a webpage with a simple snippet. the mobile experience is also extremely easy for those filling it out. ive never had anyone post in the comments that this form didnt work for their phone. i also appreciate the "limit to 1 response" option, which is crucial in keeping people from spamming my polls.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It lacks advanced reporting features. should you need to do complex cross-tabulation or deeper statistical analysis, you’ll have to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself in sheets afterward.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a nice option for startups or students. if what you need is a reliable, easy-to-manage tool, it’s hard to go wrong here.

While the mobile experience is already a key focus, other improvements could include offline access to content, notifications, and interactions that work seamlessly even without an internet connection. Employees can customize their home dashboard to access the information and applications most relevant to their daily work.

This integration with applications like Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools makes it easier for us to collaborate and manage marketing projects, improving the efficiency of our team. With the help of our visual content and testimonials, marketing teams can highlight the company's culture and organizational values, strengthening the internal brand and helping attract and retain talent.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Organizations should consider the costs associated with a Microsoft 365 subscription and any additional services they wish to implement. Connecting with non-Microsoft tools can be challenging and require additional effort. There are concerns about data privacy and the security of user information.
