What differentiates Microsoft Viva Connections from other similar products?

Microsoft Viva Connections differentiates in many ways with other similar products. First of all its integration with M365 products and employee experience focus. Built in analytics helps measure engagement and content effectiveness enabling data driven decision to enhance communications strategies.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its seamless integration with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ability to customize content and experiences so that the platform meets the unique needs of different employees, fostering a more engaged and connected workplace.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its customization process which is somewhat complex and time consuming. This can lead to slower onboarding experience for new users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The recommendations I would give to someone considering this product is make sure your organization and you are already using M365 products after the integrations with them it works more better.

What differentiates Microsoft Viva Connections from other similar products?

As with most microsoft products, you can count on the software to do what it says and deliver performance relative to the amount of users you have involved. It's features where what we were looking for, and it provided clear messaging and engagement with employees.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use! Whether desktop or mobile, our employees get the info they need in a timely manner. Also, personalization is key in that it gives employees a say in deliverability.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Lack of interesting features, but maybe those will come along.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Give it a try if you're wanting a centralized messaging platform that shares company news but also integrates HR functions. With social media tie-ins as well, you can do a bit of customization to engage more with workers.

What differentiates Microsoft Viva Connections from other similar products?

The main strength is seamless integration with other Microsoft office apps. In particular, with SharePoint online as I own an internal knowledge sharing site and viva connections make it easy to engage colleagues across the world with discussions, polls etc. further integration with Teams is a real benefit that makes the Microsoft platform the best there is, in my opinion

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Effortless integration across office apps. I can easily switch into a Teams chat and view the org chart

What do you dislike most about this product?

Digging a bit deeper the features aren’t helpful for me nor unique. I don’t like the graphic style so much

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

A no brainer if you are using office 365 already. It’s the lowest friction route
