A no-brainer in specific situations.

What differentiates Microsoft Forms from other similar products?
Microsoft Forms integrates with Excel in a way, which no other survey software currently can. This makes the process of exporting my survey results to a spreadsheet , for advanced analysis purposes, very easy.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love Forms response feature. This feature gives me a summary of responses to my surveys, as they come in. I have found this to be very helpful when I need to get quick feedback on my surveys
What do you dislike most about this product?
Microsoft Forms at this moment does not support a mobile app. This limits my options when I need to access my surveys on the move, especially when my computer isn't within reach. Also, there is no option for survey respondents to edit surveys they have already submitted.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For organizations using a lot of Microsoft products, I think considering Microsoft Forms is a no-brainer .

Definitely its Integration with Microsoft 365
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
User-friendly interface and ease of use. The new custom theme are also really cool.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Mobile version interface can be improved. Not the best experience.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Define your survey objectives clearly and clearly make use of the branching feature. For analysis, you will definitely need Power BI or another analysis tool for advanced analysis.

What differentiates Microsoft Forms from other similar products?
Microsoft forms is a clear winner when compared to the likes of typeform or survey monkey if you are already in microsoft ecosystem. as close as possible noThe above approach creates the object and form which does not work properly in typeform even thought it'll look right. Code samples: none I am wondering reason for this issue.ourn't work on autodoc¶ we should select one of both.. best of all its because of the tight integration with excel and teams. the other thing is that i no longer need to manually export data every time because the results all synch on an online excel sheet as they come in. for those of us who live in outlook and teams
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
i also love how easy it is to add branching logic! i can program intricate paths for users depending on their answers without it even feeling like i am coding. the new 2026 update now support in forms is absolutely game changering as I can get it to actually write most of an entire survey itself if I wanted by simply asking it something like "produce a customer satisfaction survey for a coffee shop". the ai also suggests the most appropriate question types which is a time saver aiming for me. the “present” mode makes this a fantastic tool for live meetings, transforming answers into lovely real time word clouds and charts.
What do you dislike most about this product?
it is a bit more limited in terms of design customization than the competition. you can replace the background and place a logo but you will not be able to tune up the layout or play with font styles to fit a high end brand identity into it aptly. it never quite looks like a typical microsoft tool.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
if you're already a microsoft 365 customer, using a different survey tool is pointless. Its fast secure and automation feature with power automate makes it so strong for business workflows.
