What differentiates JotForm from other similar products?
Jot forms provides efficient and beautiful way to collect data from end users, its amazing UI and customization ability make it a stand out.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We used Jot form on our campaign website and its results were fantastic, easy to deploy with minimum effort.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Unlike Google forms, Jot forms are not that popular yet, many times users are bit hesitant to use.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Surely should see the option if you are bored from simplistic looking forms.

Mapping isn't always correct, but great overall

What differentiates JotForm from other similar products?
HIPPA compliance, integrations, ease of use, smart mapping, ability to clone other forms, and a native app at no additional cost! I think the app is what really sets JotForm apart. For most businesses, they can have clients download the app and they can access all forms on the go from wherever. In our particular usage, we have the app for internal use only. However, this is a great way for multiple people to access the same information and it is not only helpful but saves time.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Smart mapping, definitely. Offering forms online while very convenient for those filling them out can be a hassle for the backend. Mismatched forms, cut-off answers, etc. By having the ability to map the fields onto the original PDF, backend users no longer have to worry about manually looking for the information or learning how to read an entirely new form to find the information they seek as it is the same form they are already used to. For the most part, the fields do end up were they are supposed to go and that reduces a lot of time on the implementation side. Also, the conditional formatting is great!
What do you dislike most about this product?
Anytime a new question is added, a field automatically populates on the PDF in a random spot. This is incredibly inconvenient when adding multiple-choice questions as after every new entry, a new field is added to the PDF. It would be easier to enter all the information on the question first and then map everything after.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Have a lot of patience and don't be afraid to reach out to support. Simple forms will require much less work on the backend, but forms with multiple-choice questions, a variety of answer types, etc, can eat up a lot of your time. Especially if there are 10 possible answers but only one is allowed, or conditional questions that can have multiple outcomes. Support always answers fairly quickly and the forums have lots of information to go through while you wait. The plans themselves are fairly affordable, however, if your forms need to be HIPAA compliant, there is really only one or two plans you can choose from.
