the background blur is very good.

What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?
i know all tools have virtual backgrounds, but google meet's background blur is one of the best i have seen. it looks very natural and the edge detection around my head and shoulders is very clean. it is much better and more professional than using a fake picture of a beach.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
i love using the background blur because it makes me look professional even if my room is a bit messy. it hides the clutter and keeps the focus on me and what i am saying. it is a simple feature but it is one that i use in every single meeting. it just works so well without any effort.
What do you dislike most about this product?
i wish there were more levels of blur, like a little bit of blur or a lot of blur.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
if you want a simple way to look more professional on video calls, use the built-in background blur feature.

Google Meet is strongest when your organization already uses Google Workspace. It’s simpler and more integrated than many competitors.

Seamless Google Ecosystem Integration No Installation Needed User-Friendly and Lightweight
What do you dislike most about this product?
Lacks some advanced features (like breakout room controls, webinar tools) compared to Zoom or Teams.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you're already using Google Workspace, Google Meet is a fast, secure, and seamless video-meeting tool. But if you need advanced features like breakout rooms, webinars, or deep integrations with non-Google tools, Zoom or Teams might serve you better.
