What differentiates Google Meet from other similar products?

Google Meet is unique for its seamless integration with Google Workspace tools like Calendar, Gmail and Drive. Scheduling, joining and sharing during meetings is very simple and basic to understand.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect of Google Meet is the tight integration with Google Calendar and Gmail, making scheduling, joining and managing meetings incredibly easy. especially for teams already using the Google Workspace. Everything will feel streamlined and efficient

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike about the software is its limited in-meeting engagement tool. features like polls, whiteboard, which can make meetings sessions interactive and less dynamic compared to other platforms.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I you are considering Google Meet, I recommend you use it with Google Workspace for the best experience. Because its real strength is in how well it integrates with Calendar, Gmail, and Drive.

It’s super lightweight and works in the browser without extra installs. The video quality holds up even with patchy networks, which is great for remote dev teams.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Breakout room controls could be more intuitive, and sometimes it lacks advanced features other platforms offer, like built-in whiteboards or persistent meeting chats.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're already using Gmail or Google Workspace, Meet is a no-brainer. It's reliable, simple, and perfect for quick syncs or daily standups with minimal friction.

other tools make you copy and paste links into your calendar invites. google meet is better because it is part of google workspace, so it works perfectly with google calendar.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

i love that when i create a new event in my calendar, i can add a google meet link with just one click. it is so fast and easy.

What do you dislike most about this product?

if you dont use google calendar, then this feature is not useful for you.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

if your whole company uses google workspace, the integration is a huge time saver.
