What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?

It's very basic and suited for general communication. There is nothing fancy about the application; just gets the job done. Feels reliable and robust.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is super simple to use, the UI is suited for any user (basic, intermediate, advanced). Overall, a very good application for basic chat and video/group calling.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Many glitches with the tool. I often find that the audio/video settings often default or change on their own when i restart the application. I also often have audio issues and have to reconnect several times before it works properly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would honestly recommend only using this product for general consumption. If you were to go down the route of using a more interactive/modern application, I would go with WebEx as it's constantly evolving.

What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?

It’s nice that this is linked to your laptop and phone if need be. It helps with not having to induce a desktop phone set up at my home office. I’d not need to run lines for a phone at home since I don’t have any in my house as-is. The app mechanically opens for me to use on a daily basis after I log in to my computer, that helps therefore I don’t forget to open my phone. Cisco Jabber is a feature-loaded tool offered by a brand like Cisco. Jabber integrates with Cisco VoIP phones, and users will connect and collaborate using Cisco handphones.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best a part of jabber is that it’s an app that can be opened within the background and it’ll inform you once a message comes through. Rather than an email where you’ve got to open the particular email tab to respond, jabber permits you to respond to a message in whatever system or app you already have open. I prefer the concept behind Jabber the most. It’s helpful to own the simplest way to work from your personal cell phone whereas still protective your contact information. It’ nice having that peace of mind that your phone number cannot be viewed.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Cisco Jabber is a fantastic tool however has some limitations like chat history isn’t stored. It’s powerful to refer to a message that belongs to previous chats. A number of the team members believe that Cisco Jabber consumes a lot of battery. Also, Cisco Jabber support is not up to the mark, which ends up in an outbreak and loss of work efficiency.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Cisco Jabber is a wonderful tool and simple to use. Cisco Jabber is a value-for-cash product and helps in easy collaboration with team members, which leads to higher work efficiency and team effectiveness. Cisco jabber will be a superb choice for medium and bigger enterprises searching for collaboration tools.
