Empowering the Strategy with Robust KPI Tracking

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

The first step was to design a database structure to track and analyze our KPIs. I identified the metrics we needed to monitor, such as revenue growth, market share, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. I set up tables to capture this data, ensuring each metric was clearly defined and linked to our strategic objectives.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the best things about Airtable is that you can create custom views and dashboards. I've designed dashboards that show our strategy team how we're doing across different metrics. These dashboards show data from different tables, so we can see trends, spot problems, and make good decisions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

We have encountered some minor limitations, such as needing to connect with our existing data sources.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Airtable's power lies in transforming raw data into insights. By using the platform's filtering, sorting, and reporting capabilities, I've been able to generate detailed reports and visualizations. This lets our strategy team make data-driven decisions, adjust our plans, and stay agile and responsive to market changes.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

Airtable: Unveiling the Good and the Glitchy,

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

The way Airtable lets you completely customize bases (think spreadsheets) with different views like calendars, kanban boards, and even forms is absolutely fantastic. This means I can manage anything from product launch schedules to campaign ideation, all within a single platform

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Airtable formulas are like magic tricks for data nerds like me. They allow me to automate tasks, create custom fields, and analyze data in ways that would be impossible with a traditional spreadsheet. For example, during the last Dubai Shopping Festival campaign, I built a formula that automatically calculated campaign performance metrics based on sales data in real-time. It was a game-changer!

What do you dislike most about this product?

Don't get me wrong, Airtable does reporting, but it's not its strongest suit. For complex reports, I sometimes need to export data and use another tool

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Speaking from an experienced user's point of view, if you're a retail product manager who needs a flexible tool to manage projects, track inventory, or brainstorm ideas, Airtable is definitely worth checking out.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Enables Productivity
  • Caring
  • Respectful

Airtable is a Customization Powerhouse

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Airtable from other similar products?

You can create different "bases" to organize your data, like one for product information, another for customer orders, and even one for tracking marketing campaigns

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Airtable is a Customization Powerhouse. This is where Airtable truly shines. You can add different types of fields to your bases – text, numbers, attachments, even Kanban boards for visualizing workflows. It's like having a Swiss Army Knife for organizing your data. Need to track the color variations of a particular dress? Easy, just add a color picker field

What do you dislike most about this product?

Don't get me wrong, I love Airtable, but their reporting features could be a bit more robust. Sometimes I want to slice and dice the data in very specific ways, and Airtable can get a little clunky with super complex queries

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Before jumping in, ask yourself what kind of data organization you need. If you're dealing with simple things like product listings, Airtable is a breeze. But for highly complex data analysis, you might need a more specialized tool

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Enables Productivity
  • Respectful
  • Client Friendly Policies
