What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?
I think it is the popularity and feature set for me. On the side of popularity, the fact that Zoom is used by most people outside of my company, makes it an ideal tool for professionals like myself , since it is normal for me to have to communicate through video calling, with collaborators outside of my organization. On the feature set side, i have just been amazed at what Zoom does for me as a user ; it has been allowing me join or start video calls from my mobile device without glitches, it provides me a unique recording experience that clearly displays timestamp and the name of all meeting participant in a recorded meeting.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My team does a lot of large sized video conference meetings. I am happy that my Zoom experience is rarely been affected negatively as a result of the number of participants in a video conference call. No lags, and no logging me out of meetings, which is something I have experienced with a video calling app. before.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There was the era during the covid-19 duration where a few of my mates in my last company had encounters with random , unknown persons joining their meetings. Although I never personally experienced this when it happened, it was quite concerning for me. Good enough though , I haven't heard of a similar experience in my current work institution and i assume that Zoom has simply fixed this lapse.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Zoom is an extensive video calling suite, that has made remote communication and whiteboarding a simple and trustworthy experience for me. I will wholeheartedly recommend this platform.
