What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?
The availability of easy-to-install and widely supporting VDI plugins makes it possible to use a collaboration platform like Zoom in NDS. This is one of the unique features that Zoom provides which makes it a popular tool among enterprises that work on the NDS environment.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of searching and connecting with colleagues is very fast and satisfying. Can easily be launched in an audio call-only format making it a perfect companion for quick screenshare and problem-discussing requirements. Gives very good audio controls to have proper command over the meeting. Keeps a proper list of all the missed calls, along with read and unread tags, so it's easier to track them. Easy to launch meetings in a personal conference room for meetings with multiple audiences and also easier to add or remove an audience from ongoing calls.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is no chat interface for personal meetings or one-on-one calls. Thus we have to rely on other chat-supported collaboration tools for that purpose. Would've been a lot easier if it provided the chat feature also. There is no history option to check all previously happened meetings.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If your enterprise is using an NDS environment or there are restrictions on using the Calling feature of Microsoft Teams then it is the next best choice. From a security point of view, it is the top choice, used by many big organizations including financial organizations where security is of utmost concern.
