What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Tableau provides an extensive range of visualization choices such as charts, graphs, maps, and tables, allowing for the visually captivating and purposeful presentation of data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It integrates cutting-edge analytics functionalities like forecasting & clustering. These capabilities empower us to conduct intricate data analysis and reveal concealed patterns and trends within the data.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The licencing cost is way too high. Mastering its more advanced features and functionalities can require a considerable learning curve.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For data visualization and analytics this is one of the best application out there. Make sure if you are ok paying the cost of the licence otherwise the free version is decent enough.

Tableau Effective for Legal Industry, Not Perfect

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?

Tableau has more aesthetically pleasing visuals than MS PowerBI and Amazon's QuickSight. It is also seems easier to feed raw data into the tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite feature is the ability to link raw data files on a desktop to the platform so that any changes to the raw data can be quickly updated on Tableau with a refresh.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Tableau offers expensive training and technical level customer service is almost non-existent.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend that those in the legal industry begin with a free data visualization tool and then, if it is insufficient, move toward pay-to-play Tableau and the legal and security hurdles it entails.
