What differentiates SteelHead from other similar products?

The ease of deployment at the initial stages of implementation, the service and support provided by the technical team (when under contract obviously). I have had instances when certain cases have taken a long time to get redressal too however one thing is for sure, they will give a resolution to the issues you face. But mostly, it's a quick friendly call to get most of the issues/cases sorted. Looking at the financial aspect of the product, it is usually future ready and gives amazing ROI. We have multiple models being used in our organization and we have had them for almost an eternity now. And they still work like a charm.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

A bit tricky, but easy administration once you get a hang of it. Very easy to troubleshoot. And the sales price point is just awesome if you bag a good deal

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have only faced issues with cert (CSR) import to the appliance. It can be me but it usually fails the first time for me. So that is my only issue with steelhead appliances

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go for it. It makes absolute sense. And with new features coming up... It is on its way to become a complete single box design. Good for your present as well as future

Market Leadership. First in its category. Innovation. Focus on a very niche players and market.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

WAN and application optimization using a very simple concept of session management (In a high level description).

What do you dislike most about this product?

Limited scope in terms of where it is necessary and should be implemented. Sometimes very limited scope for customization.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are from ISP or Enterprise Service/Product delivery industry; that also with Fortune 500 then only you should consider this. Otherwise it will not be useful to you in its maximum extent and ROI will be negative.
