What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

It is different in many ways from its competitors. It is a very flexible tool and user-friendly interface. It is easy to adopt for users who are beginners and have dealt with much easier tools earlier. Unlike others, it offers a wide range of customization to meet the demands of the project.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

All of its features are my favorite. However, some come at the top such as its spreadsheet-like interface. It is very similar to Excel making it easy and comfortable for beginners to use. It also facilitates authentic project management features including workflow automation, Gantt charts, and customizable dashboards. It assists users in sorting out complex management projects with ease. Making a strong bridge between team and department, makes it prioritized for dynamic projects.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has many strengths making it the first choice for those dealing with complex managing projects. It offers a wide range of automation options, making it more comfortable for its users. However, to fully utilize any tools, one should first learn their basic technical features through guidance and tutorials.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I highly recommend this tool for managing projects offering maximum accuracy and validity. Especially for projects, that demand detailed tracking, strong collaboration between teams and departments, and reporting. Its flexibility and versatility make it the first choice for industries of all scales and projects of all dimensions.

The ease of use and its fmiliarty for users who come from using excel to manage projects.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

High level visibilty to project and project notes from a GANTT chart and spreadsheet perspective.

What do you dislike most about this product?

no real defined lane-ways for sdlc progress to see a high level view when reviewing with a team.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

make sure it fits needs of PM as it may not be detailed enough and if it is being used for product or development or services.

What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Smartsheet is good for teams who want the familiarity and ease of use of spreadsheets, with a dash of extra project management muscle. This works well for tight timeline projects and projects with massive amounts of data.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Our Dashboards, reporting and Automation features are in place to help achieve this and also to reduce manual and repetitive reporting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Interface takes a while to get comfortable with as it can seem complex at first when trying to configure automations or configure in depth reporting, takes training.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The templates were invaluable, and definitely spent a bit of time learning the automation part, once this was set up its a powerful tool for managing several projects at the same time.
