What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Excel-like Layout, Easy Transition, Custom Workflows, Conditional Alerts and Notifications

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the standout aspects of Smartsheet that I particularly appreciate is its versatility. Smartsheet combines the power and flexibility of a spreadsheet with advanced project management and collaboration features. This hybrid nature allows teams from various industries and with different needs to tailor the platform to their workflows I also like how the automation capabilities allow users to streamline repetitive tasks without needing any coding knowledge. Setting up triggers for alerts, status updates, or approvals based on conditions within a project is incredibly helpful for improving efficiency and reducing manual oversight.

What do you dislike most about this product?

1) SmartSheet’s views, such as Gantt charts and dashboards, can feel a bit rigid. There is sometimes a lack of flexibility in customizing them compared to other tools like Excel or Google Sheets. 2) SmartSheet can get expensive, especially for smaller teams or individual users who need access to advanced features. Its pricing model may not be as competitive as some other tools with similar features. 3) The mobile app version of SmartSheet is not always as smooth or user-friendly, particularly when dealing with larger sheets or more intricate projects.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

1) Determine what specific features you need. SmartSheet excels in project management, collaboration, and task tracking, so if these are your primary needs, it could be a good fit. 2) Take advantage of any free trial or demo version to get a hands-on feel for the interface and capabilities. This will help you see how it handles your typical tasks and whether it integrates well with your other tools. 3) If your team needs strong collaboration features, SmartSheet’s capabilities in real-time updates, sharing, and task assignment can be very useful.

Its having many different features other then peers like Pre built Templates, Mobile Access and security and compliance wise also good.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its having very good capability of Mobile Access.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its not having AI powered task management system in Gen AI world.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This tool is very good and easy to use but before buying this software comparison is needed because there are ample of software available in the market and having different functionalities.
