What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

Slack's simplistic design sets it apart from its peers. Despite the avalanche of features available within Slack, it has the design of a simple chat tool , which the average person can learn to use almost immediately. Slacks overall learning curve is reasonable and its most important features are just a click away and easy to use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Third party integrations are one of the most alluring part of my Slack experience. At the moment,, Slack is seamlessly integrated with all major softwares I use at work and this has enabled me perform.a lot of actions on the integrated third party softwares, right from within my Slack interface.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Slack consumes a lot of system resources. This is the only point of little dissatisfaction I can point to.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Slack powers cross team and departmental communication / collaboration at my workplace. I believe without Slack, our internal communication will be lopsided and slow. .
