What differentiates ShareFile from other similar products?

ShareFile stands out for its hassle-free enterprise security: encryption, audits, detailed access controls, custom portals, and integrated workflows. It’s more than just storage—it’s a professional environment for handling sensitive documents with real confidence.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Everything I need is in one place: I can set up secure folders with client access, send large files without a problem, and even sign them digitally. Honestly, it felt like a huge relief. The platform gave me full control over access and expiration dates, so I was able to share reports with external partners during a recent audit without stressing about privacy. Right away, I felt confident that all my documents were stored safely in a professional environment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The interface can look a little busy at first since there are so many options, but once you get the hang of it, it actually gives you full control.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start the free trial, set up a real client portal, upload some files, and test out permissions, deadlines, and e-signatures. If it gives you that sense of control and legal peace of mind, then you know it’s worth it.

What differentiates ShareFile from other similar products?

we handle large client assets — ad creatives, video files, campaign reports — and need both secure sharing and simple client access. It is more tailored for external collaboration than generic storage

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its secure client portals are an absolute beast in the sense that they give clients easy access to campaign deliverables without forcing them into our internal systems. The ability to track downloads has also been useful in confirming client receipt of sensitive files

What do you dislike most about this product?

The sync client feels dated compared to newer tools, and the mobile experience could be smoother for external partners. Also, version control across multiple uploads sometimes leads to confusion if clients re-upload into the portal.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Position ShareFile as your client-facing delivery tool, not your main internal storage. Train clients on how to use the portals early in onboarding to avoid repeated support requests. And pair it with your internal collaboration system so teams aren’t duplicating file handling.
