What differentiates Segment from other similar products?

The performance of the tool is also very good in terms of speed, it is easy to integrate new applications and send data to other resources, also connecting countless data sources and applications and obtaining data sent from our application to the marketing automation platform, too. it allows us to pass and control data flows at an out-of-code level, and it is extremely valuable to our core business, they also have a huge library of sources and destinations, we have also greatly reduced development costs related to data and event ETL measurement.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I especially love the ability to send data to an external database, I also like the ease of setting a new destination, the ability to clearly map, collect and transform data in near real time has been a game changer, this is one great platform that is not only very easy to implement but also saves a lot of time by directing the data to the right platforms, great to have a standard API for the development team to keep track of.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't see anything wrong with this tool, since I've only had good results since I've used it, so far I haven't found anything that I can't like.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It has delivered what it promised, reducing the amount of time required to integrate our infrastructure, provides everything that is needed to have a successful implementation.
