What differentiates ScreenConnect Remote Support from other similar products?

There are a tonne of capabilities in ConnectWise Control beyond just remote access. It features a command prompt, logs, screenshot view, system specs, and remote service access. The Backstage remote, which allows developers to operate tools behind the scenes without interfering with end users, is by far its greatest feature. Because it helps me develop a better, more recognizable support management procedure, ConnectWise is incredibly beneficial. I’ve been able to help my customers address any challenges they may be having and succeed with them because of it. It is quite powerful and has a special way of being deployed.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

ConnectWise Control is an excellent option for remote access. I’ve been using it for several years. First and foremost, the platform is extremely dependable. ConnectWise Control is accessible from a variety of devices, including my iPhone and iPad. Previously, I only used Windows Remote Desktop. My customers appreciate the fact that we can both see the screen at the same time. I can utilize Connectwise Control as a teaching tool to demonstrate concepts to them without having to visit their office.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The platform’s ability to log users out after a predetermined period is the only feature I don’t like; I assume this is a security measure.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I can locate the machine or server I’m seeking rapidly because of ConnectWise Control’s excellent web view. Without affecting the user experience, I can swiftly gather information or debug a user’s PC by using the web interface to run normal command line and PowerShell operations. Screen sharing is frequently chosen over Remote Desktop sessions since it is incredibly dependable and quick. The ability to move between user sessions on the PC is also quite handy, especially when working with a Remote Desktop server and wishing to help a particular user there. Because of its amazing features, I recommend this tool.

What differentiates ScreenConnect Remote Support from other similar products?

While other remote management programs, such as Solarwinds N-able, offer similar functions, Connectwise control goes above and beyond with an intuitive UI, scriptable patch updates, and flexible connectivity options.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The information and power we gain from Control allow us to effectively manage and assist our clientele. We can better assist our customers with software upgrades thanks to the administrator sign-in request function.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Macs sometimes have issues with Connectwise's control. When a Mac is updated, it can be difficult for a user without administrative rights to regain control of the machine.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a managed service provider, we need secure remote access to our customers' networks and computers. Maintaining order is crucial to the success of our customer service model. letting our support team administer and assist users from afar.

What differentiates ScreenConnect Remote Support from other similar products?

It lets us access client PCs remotely, execute instructions, deploy software, and even transfer files. Providing the means to establish new remote sessions with clients who are not currently using our platform and to access client machines, both when they are logged in and when they are not.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

ConnectWise Control is a powerful tool with various applications beyond remote access. Access the system's logs, commands, and services without having to use a remote desktop connection. The finest part, though, is the remote access function called "Backstage," which allows engineers to operate tools without affecting the user's experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The majority of the capabilities can only be accessed by purchasing a more expensive license, and if the service is hosted locally, upgrades to both the server and the clients must be executed manually. Some functions are also unavailable when using a self-hosted solution.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It has a lot of features that are helpful, making it a superb remote access tool. Facilitating remote control and troubleshooting of any and all equipment by letting us access them remotely and share our screens.
