What differentiates SAP Identity and Access Management from other similar products?

SAP Identity management services is a part of SAP strategic IT landscape for the future . SAP BTP ( Business Technology Platform ) provides a bunch of services compatible with SAP Products for seem less integration and delivery . It also comes along as package for SAP Successfactors Suite and customers do not have to buy subscriptions separately for Microsoft Extra Id . Analytics and other It related issues like Login issues / Password reset can be managed fast.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Industry specific SSO capabilities liek SAML and OAuth . Can be enhanced and used for other SAP APPlications developed as extensions for SAP Products

What do you dislike most about this product?

enhancement capabilities however is limited and not to a great extend . Package implementation is the way forward. Use of IAS with other third party softwares / systems becomes a challenge in terms of compatibles and how both the systems are designed .

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If a customer is moving to SAP landscape it is one of the bets options for them as it integrates seemlessly with SAP Products and just few configurations are needed .
