What do you dislike most about this product?

Setting it up is a little challenging. The integration requires first supervision because it is a little complicated. It is simple to interface with the SAP application but challenging to do so with other data sources and applications. It requires technical assistance to be integrated with third-party applications correctly the first time because it is challenging to perform. It seamlessly connects with SAP applications.

SAP Services provide a variety of features for transforming both structured and unstructured data. With ETL services, it gives the most excellent solution for enterprise-level solutions. Our data team mainly uses SAP Data Services to gather data from multiple sources.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Data recovery is simple since it serves as a single access point to all of the system's data. It has filters that enable you to select only the information you need, which is helpful. It has several connectors to quickly and effectively connect with different data sources. Additionally, it offers a tonne of capabilities that make processing data simple. Before processing, it decodes, cleans, and validates the data. Additionally, it provides visualization capabilities.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Auto functionality, more difficult coding and ETL jobs for email notifications cannot be directly automated with any tool. Many ETL features are missing, and error codes don't always give detailed error information. Practical usage requires training, and not all users can do it without it. It takes more time to extract big amounts of data, which is not desirable. A few features are necessary for better operation.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

They have an excellent OLAP engine. If we were using another product, we would never be able to come up with solutions or report on problems. Easy-to-use software has a straightforward setup process. Integrating with other tools and applications is simple and takes very little time. And it offers secure access and is reliable. While the data is being transformed, there is no data loss.

What differentiates SAP Data Services from other similar products?

I have used SAP Data Services for almost 6 years and it has demonstrated its full potential in SAP ERP and proof of concept with amazing and fantastic results. It's integration with SAP ERP/ECC works very well and a lot of flexibility in data creation with different types of communication capabilities like BAPIs, IDocs and batch input.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

SAP Data Services is used mainly within IT department to migrate data from our legacy systems into SAP ERP. Data services is used to transform, extract and load data from/to various sources like text files, Excel sheets SAP HANA tables and CSV files.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't like the fact that a lot of functions do not behave the way they should.
