What do you dislike most about this product?

The main drawback of Salesforce Authenticator is its limited cross-platform support. Unlike some competitors, it doesn't offer a desktop application or browser extension, which can be inconvenient for users who prefer to authenticate from their computers. I like the One-Tap Push Approvals with Context. Instead of manually entering codes, users can approve logins with a single tap, complete with details like location, device, and activity for added peace of mind.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't like the fact that it has Limited use outside Salesforce ecosystem. It’s excellent for Salesforce access, but unlike Authy or Google Authenticator, it isn’t designed as a universal 2FA app for all services.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Salesforce Authenticator is ideal if your organization relies heavily on Salesforce. It adds strong, user-friendly security without slowing down workflows, but you’ll likely need a separate 2FA solution for others.
