What differentiates Salesforce Agentforce from other similar products?

Built deep into the Salesforce ecosystem: Agentforce isn’t just a bolt-on tool—it’s native to the Salesforce Platform, so it ties directly into your customer records, Salesforce apps (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.), and data flows. Access to rich, trusted data for smarter actions: Many AI tools rely on generic models, but Agentforce has a foundation in the Salesforce Data Cloud, enabling it to pull structured + unstructured data (sales records, support tickets, PDFs, etc.), giving it context and trust.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Salesforce Agentforce is how seamlessly it connects with all the data and workflows already inside Salesforce. Because it’s built directly into the platform, the agent feels smart and context-aware—it understands cases, leads, activities, customer history, and even unstructured data without needing complicated setup. This makes the AI actually useful in real work, not just a fancy chatbot. It can take meaningful actions, automate routine tasks, and guide me step-by-step through processes that normally require switching between multiple screens.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about Salesforce Agentforce is that it can feel more complex to set up and manage than expected. Even though it’s powerful, getting the agent to behave exactly the way you want often requires a lot of configuration, clean data, and sometimes help from experienced Salesforce admins or developers. The learning curve is noticeable, and some features still feel new or inconsistent, which means the agent doesn’t always respond the same way every time. Documentation and real-world examples could also be better, especially for advanced use cases. Overall, the potential is huge, but the setup effort and occasional unpredictability

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you’re considering Salesforce Agentforce, my biggest recommendation is to start small with a clear, simple use case instead of trying to deploy it across your whole workflow at once. It works best when your Salesforce data is clean and well-structured, so make sure you invest time in preparing your data first—this will make the AI far more reliable. Also, involve your Salesforce admin or someone comfortable with configuration early on, because some customization and tuning are usually needed to get the best results. Test the agent in a sandbox, monitor its behavior, and refine its instructions before going live.

many mobile crms are just a simplified version of the desktop site. agentforce is different. it feels like i have the full power of salesforce on my phone and tablet.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

i love that i can access all our company's custom objects and fields. it's not just the standard contacts and accounts. this is essential for our complex business.

What do you dislike most about this product?

because it's so powerful, it can be very slow to load on my phone.

if you need the full power of salesforce in the field, this is the only choice.
