What differentiates Planview ProjectAdvantage from other similar products?
Easy access, simple to use, and flexible customization. This allows me to have an overview of the project portfolio by defining specific parameters. I can create as many custom reports as I want, based on the underlying data collected by the system. It’s useful as an administration tool as opposed to a replacement for something like MS Project, which is hard to use because it’s so detailed. I can extend the project management module to include resource, financial, time, and cost planning.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the project search mechanism - “contains” is especially useful. I also love being able to enter weekly project statuses and the easy way to edit project details. In the same way, I can duplicate weekly reports so I don’t have to re-enter previous states.
What do you dislike most about this product?
System administration can be too complicated/confusing depending on the security configuration I want to achieve. Cloned projects can cause system crashes if I forget to check or uncheck certain things before cloning. I need to use the admin a lot to master it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Intuitive. Very simple. Users will easily get up to speed. Great support team. They respond within a day, usually within minutes of ticket registration, and are available to call if needed. The tool is easy to customize, and most people with little coding experience should be able to create custom workflows and processes.

What differentiates Planview ProjectAdvantage from other similar products?
In comparison to similar systems, it allows you, the user, to generate an unlimited number of individualized reports from the raw data collected by the system. It's more of a governance tool than a replacement for more verbose software like Microsoft Project. Planning for resources, money, time, and money can all be added to the project management section.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
KeyedIn's ease of use and robust features made it the clear choice for our organization's needs in PPM, accounting, and resource management. A multilingual and multicurrency tool was crucial for this multinational corporation. The portfolio planning feature is a fantastic resource for strategic long-term thinking and scenario analysis. To cap it all off, KeyedIn has a fee structure that's easy on the wallet.
What do you dislike most about this product?
While the toolset does offer a variety of reports, it originally fell short when compared to our organization's need for comprehensive reporting and the prevailing governance standards. KeyedIn is currently working to solve this issue. The technology is problematic at month's end since it planned in months and days but captures in hours and weeks.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This tool comes highly recommended by me due to the amazing versatility it offers in terms of managing resources, clients, projects, and billing.
