Background: Oracle has over 40 years experience in ERP among many other things. Over 40 years Oracle has amassed experience across most industries and developed a market beating ERP product. Further, Oracle has acquired many innovative startups to plug the gaps in its arsenal. Present : Oracle ERP Cloud is developed from scratch based on the best practices of all on premise oracle Enterprise software ( Oracle EBS, Oracle JD Edwards, Oracle PeopleSoft, Hyperion ...etc ). Oracle Cloud ERP offers best in class user experience with inbuilt Analytics and comprehensive features.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Oracle keeps rolling out new features every quarter. There is a wide talent pool readily available in the market, who specialize in Oracle Technologies. The product keeps improving day by day. Oracle offers all the possible modules and they are tightly integrated with each other.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Oracle must focus on Customer service. Oracle must make customer delight at the center of their offerings. Oracle has improved on this metric in recent years, however there is still scope for improvement.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Implement the best practices recommended by oracle. Attend Oracle User groups to learn and network with other oracle customers. Work with Oracle Customer Sucess Manager from the begining. Leverage the readily available talent pool from the market in the project delivery and implementation. Focus on Data Migration and keep things simple to start with.
