Unlike traditional intranet tools, it encourages open dialogue, transparent leadership communication, and meaningful engagement across remote and hybrid teams, making internal communication more interactive, personal, and culturally connected.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I use Viva Engage daily to stay connected with colleagues and company updates in one familiar Microsoft environment. The platform makes internal communication feel more human, open, and interactive than traditional corporate email chains. I appreciate how leadership messages feel more approachable through posts, comments, and reactions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

‎I don’t have any notable complaints, as Microsoft Viva Engage works smoothly and effectively enhances workplace communication and engagement.

Features like Leadership Corner, Storylines, and Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions foster transparency and leadership engagement, which is not a core focus in Slack or Workplace.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its deep integration with Microsoft 365 and Teams, enabling seamless community engagement within the tools employees already use daily. This makes it unique compared to standalone platforms because it reduces friction, improves adoption, and ties engagement directly to productivity workflows.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Limited personalization and discoverability compared to consumer-grade social platforms. While Viva Engage integrates well with Microsoft 365, it can feel less intuitive for finding relevant communities or tailoring content to individual interests. This impacts engagement in large organizations.
