Definitely the intranets and the Team sites.

Takes a bit of time to learn and navigate through most of the features to get the best out of it.

What differentiates Microsoft SharePoint from other similar products?

It is not a standalone Content Management Platform. It combines document management, team collaboration, automation. It also has enterprise grade security and excels in compliance and governance allowing companies to adapt as per their needs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is the combination of document management, collaboration and collaboration in a single solution. Plus it integrates with the Microsoft Ecosystem which improves productivity.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Customization can be a challenge without a dedicated Technical Team. Again the learning curve can be steep for first time users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Organizations already in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem will benefit the most from it. But proper planning, resource allocation and training would be required for a seamless deployment..

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is its seamless integration with Microsoft 365. It makes document collaboration, sharing, version control, and access management easy while allowing teams to work together efficiently within familiar Microsoft tools.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The biggest drawback is that SharePoint can be complex to configure and manage. Its extensive customization options and permissions model can also have a steep learning curve, especially for new users and administrators.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I’d recommend SharePoint for organizations already using Microsoft 365. Start with clear governance and permission structures, then gradually customize it to your business needs. Invest in user training to maximize adoption and avoid unnecessary complexity.
