The functionality of Microsoft SharePoint is what makes it stands out from other products. The versatility and the ease to create groups for privacy requirements and the ability to complete an audit trail should something go awry.

if you are familiar with Microsoft products and want an all in one document management system then this is for you. SharePoint allows for security,, collaboration, document management and access away from the office. You can access SharePoint online or as you would with Windows as folders in your normal drive use. However if there are financial constraints there are alternatives but they will be as good.
