What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
Sharepoint is a central repository for team documents, shared files, and other types of data that require a high degree of organization. The fact that all of a team's members, no matter where they are in the world, can go to one place and view, edit, and save all of the same files simultaneously is a huge plus.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One issue that has been addressed is the lack of a central repository for team files, one place where all team members may go to access and maintain up-to-date versions of team papers. The advantages include a reduction in the number of competing versions of a given document.
What do you dislike most about this product?
One of the few drawbacks is the frequent new releases that slow down operational procedures. In addition to the high price, we find. It's possible it'll end up costing less.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Due to the sheer number of projects we're involved in, we're always passing around paperwork for review and signature. Thanks to Microsoft SharePoint, I can safely share files with the team without compromising security.

What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?
What i like about the features of the tool is how you are able to share documents with staffs without minding of the authenticity of the document being compromised. You are also able to put different level of security when sharing the document. For example you might decide that a document privacy is of management level, that means the only person who can open the document should be in the management level. You can also limit printing of the document among other features.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
How secure the tool is what makes me love it. The ease of use and customization comes handy with the tool.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing annoying about the tool, its easy to use.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For document management, i would highly recommend the use of the tool.

The access and security settings for the folders and files are a little clunky and complicated.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure you train your staff on its features and capabilities to ensure you get the most of out Sharepoint.
