What differentiates Microsoft Sharepoint from other similar products?

Microsoft SharePoint is a wide used platform to share information within the organization and clients/vendors sharing option can think about as external sharing through the cloud search. Whether or not you’re addressing traditional content, online page or social content. You’ll manage versions, apply retention schedules, declare records and place legal holds. The search feature additionally goes through all sites, pages, wikis, libraries. The file name, title, author, and any keywords or class system is discovered as a part of metadata. The combination and customization also play a significant role within the success of this tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What i prefer most is it’s got nice integration with different Microsoft applications like groups and yammer. We are presently engaged on team sites wherever our team transfers the review documents or posts some updates regarding the progress of user stories. The channel produced in teams features a nice integration with SharePoint, so we don’t need to open and upload in SharePoint. The UI is additionally intuitive and customizable wherein we can poll votes, show the work progress, attach lists, create homepage banner, add forms, etcetera.

What do you dislike most about this product?

For new users, it may be a bit confusing as there are numerous controls and therefore the website is most customizable. That’s not a downside, however, it’ll take your time to get used to it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would say if anyone is searching for secure file sharing with a fast set up then select Microsoft Sharepoint only without any hesitation. Their technical support and service are cool and they are responsive throughout odd hours as well.

Limited storage capacity and inability to mass transfer and mass download files that are already in SharePoint

Allow mass transfers from folder to folder and allow mass downloads awithin SharePoint.
