It takes very little time to upload any document or video to SharePoint. Moving thousands of files is a difficult task. Third-party software may be required at times. The files must be renamed before they can be uploaded. Otherwise, you will encounter difficulties. You will irritate your customers, there is no way around it; you must give training.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I definitely suggest it for startups and other companies since it is a terrific tool to have and understand. Content can be automatically processed, organized and classified by using Microsoft Syntex. Content discovery is made easy with Viva Topics.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Advanced capabilities like Topics and automatic content processing come at a premium price. Compliance is also a separate SKU.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Consider the total cost of ownership and see how consolidation can help bring down the cost. A single platform can reduce the administrative, training costs as well make it easier for end users to go to a single destination instead of bouncing to different platforms to do their work which breaks the flow and hurts productivity.
