What differentiates Microsoft Entra ID from other similar products?

Being a Microsoft product and seamlessly integrates with Office 365 suite and ADFS.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Run legacy applications in the cloud

What do you dislike most about this product?

Slowness of Single sign on comparing to OKTA. Separate sections for pretty much same things "Enterprise Application" and "App Registration" which is confusing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do the cost analysis first between Azure AD and OKTA. And if there are not significant benefits you are getting from Azure then go with OKTA.

Compared to Windows Active Directory, Azure Active Directory needs a lot of catching up to do. So if you're a guru with on-premise, you might be annoyed with some unavailable features on AAD

It's a fantastic product, you should totally go for it.

What differentiates Microsoft Entra ID from other similar products?

Integrating two services offered by this platform such as Windows Azure Active Directory (WAAD), where all user identities will be related and Windows Azure Access Control Service (WAACS) that will allow the allocation of each service to users. This service also allows the organization to have a fully synchronized environment. It offers high availability. This application offers its users a service in hours/real time at 99.95% of what is expected by other similar products. It offers a strong security profile.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It works completely separate from the entire Microsoft platform. It is completely independent. Access to the entire service depends on synchronization with the AD (user, password) and the Microsoft cloud. It is a complete service that works with local network drives. It combines security controls such as detect, evaluate, diagnose, stabilize and close, producing a synchronization between end users and their data, minimizing its loss, since its multi factor authentication interface and user passwords offer overprotection, to prevent the theft of user, group, business and company information.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If you want to integrate the service with other SaaS (Software as a Service) providers, you need to have the right knowledge (IT administrators, business owners) to make it work properly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Customize, control and manage the profiles of users who subscribe, log in, make use of their applications, as well as manage guest users and external partners without losing control and registration over the own corporate data belonging to the company and business. It also performs hybrid identification between all independent resources located in the cloud or locally.
