Log analytics leverages KQL, a powerful query language, to perform advanced log queries. It offers dynamic threshold and intelligence alerting powered by machine learning. It uses AI to detect and diagnose performance issues and failures.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It often varies depending on user needs and specific use cases. Most appreciated aspects is its ability to provide a unified view of all azure resources. Users can monitor infrastructure, applications, and networks in one place. KQL allows for powerful data manipulation and visualisation. The tight integration with azure service is a favourite among users. The inclusion of application insights is highly favoured for application performance monitoring. Dynamic alerting features are highly appreciable which is powered by machine learning.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Users iften find that azure monitor can be complex for newcomers. The array, features, settings can be overwhelming. KQL is powerful it can be difficult for users who are not experienced with querying languages. Although azure monitor operates on a pay as you go models, it frequently report challenges in estimating costs accurately. Organisation with significant logging and monitoring needs may find costs. Sometimes it may find the interface to be less intuitive compared to others tools.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Organisation with experts can consider more because freshers may gets a lag with the complex array and features. Smaller organisation may not be preferable coz its cost may not be valuable for them. A resource with high know initial implementation may require perfect experts, so consider the organisation who are having a talented resource can preferred more.

No idea about other products available in the market but this tool Microsoft Azure Monitor is one of the best tool we are experiencing in our perspective and i would like to suggest others to experience the same feature by getting it.

Unified platform with centralized management providing consistent experience.

There are more but i want to highlight few like costs, complexity understanding various components, services, and configurations and the learning curve involved in this tool.

Understand their own tool and check whether this is tool they need.

It offers specialized insights that provide pre built, expert level health dashboards without me having to drag and drop a single tile.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I can track a user's journey in application insights and correlate it directly to a spike in backend databases CPU within the same interface.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's pricing is too much higher than it needs to be.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your workload is primarily in Azure, Azure monitor is no brainer l. You simply won't get the same level of day zero visibility with any other tool.
