The aspect I dislike most about Microsoft Azure Monitor is its complexity and steep learning curve. While it offers a wide range of powerful features, navigating the interface and fully leveraging its capabilities can be overwhelming for new users or those without a dedicated operations team. The extensive options for configuration and customization, while beneficial, can lead to confusion and may require significant time investment to set up effectively.

the main differentiator for us is that it Works very well with other Azure services, and have ots of monitoring and alert options we can easily configer it as per our need. and the main reason is easy to implement not too complex and ui is very user friendly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

the Log searching feature is powerful i can query theough big db with TBs of data really fast and at one place u can easyly see system and application health .

What do you dislike most about this product?

The pricing is hard to estimate sometimes u cannot predict the cost for azure monitor, also their are way lot features which sometimes can be confusing to choose.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

could be Good choice if the company already uses Azure and make sure to Check pricing before enabling lots of data collection.

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Monitor from other similar products?

It offers specialized insights that provide pre built, expert level health dashboards without me having to drag and drop a single tile.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I can track a user's journey in application insights and correlate it directly to a spike in backend databases CPU within the same interface.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's pricing is too much higher than it needs to be.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your workload is primarily in Azure, Azure monitor is no brainer l. You simply won't get the same level of day zero visibility with any other tool.
