What differentiates isolved People Cloud from other similar products?
The primary distinction with isolved is that it is excellent for businesses who are too big for QuickBooks but too tiny for the huge corporate systems. Other platforms have too many features that we don't need, but isolved is just right. It works great at larger sizes. The system didn't slow down or get harder to use as we hired more people. It is the greatest solution for the mid-market because it is easy to use and has strong compliance tools that only huge companies normally have access to.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I absolutely appreciate the interface for "adaptive employee experience." Compared to the gray screens of our old software, this one is far more vibrant and interesting. The workers really do log in to see their pay stubs without needing my aid. I also like how quickly the payroll is processed. I can do payroll in minutes instead of hours. The tax filing service is also incredibly dependable; they have never missed a deadline. I also like that it comes with a learning management system. It is a big bonus that you can easily assign sexual harassment training in the HR platform.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As an administrator, it can be hard to get around the back end. It's hard to find simple settings because there are too many sub-menus. Sometimes the system logs you out too quickly for security reasons, which is frustrating when you're in the middle of anything.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is the ideal choice for businesses with 50 to 500 employees. It has all the big boy characteristics but doesn't cost as much as an enterprise. Just give the admin menu structure some time; you'll get used to it.
