What differentiates HCL Sametime from other similar products?

The most notable difference may be that this is a very simple software that requires little learning curve.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Until now, no other software has allowed users to drag and drop virtually any form of attachment, including but not limited to text, photos, links, audio, and more. No files need to be downloaded or attached. And this was almost a decade before similar devices emerged, such as Zoom.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Domino, which Sametime is built on top of, is neither the newest or most popular software available. It's a pity, because Sametime really is the best IM client out there.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The application is great for its simplicity and efficiency, thus I recommend using it. Together with my coworkers, we may connect, share files, and hold impromptu talks.
