What differentiates HawkSearch from other similar products?

The differentiator that made us choose HawkSearch was their support for indexed faceting, SEO traffic builder, and advanced customization options for filtering.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I appreciate the high level of customization offered for how facets appear on any given page. We also appreciate the ability to use it as a light CMS tool for visual merchandised content.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The pinning feature is somewhat less intuitive and pleasing to use compared to our previous product. The UI could be improved a bit.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

HawkSearch is a great tool with robust features. If you'd like to leverage the SEO traffic builder, go in with a plan on how you'll manage your strategy with HawkSearch and your developers. Each integration is unique and the fine points can be a lot to learn at the start. Their team has worked with us to achieve our goals and has been really responsive over the last 8 months since we went live.

What differentiates HawkSearch from other similar products?

Their SEO and keyword faceting for our large catalog were very important.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The SEO tools and long tail keyword indexing is my favorite. I also appreciate their ability to assign products to multiple categories based on rules.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have not experienced any dislikes yet. At time of review, we have been using Hawk for about 8 months.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do your research and understand what is available in the market. Ask your potential provider to show you examples and make sure and get references.
