What differentiates GoTo Meeting from other similar products?

GoToMeeting has the distinction of being a pioneer in the video conferencing arena and has many tools like remote mouse control, the ability to record natively, and convenient integrations with many of the workspace clients like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and many more. Because it's web-based, no software downloads or installations are required, others just need a web browser and an internet connection. GoTo Meeting allows you to have rooms that do not disappear after the initial meeting, these meeting rooms can be joined with your ID and last for long-term discussions, which is favorable in work environments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its user-friendly nature is a strong reason to enable streamlined communications with our customers, even if they don't use the app. I love that the dial-in feature allows them to reach us and join our meetings from their phones, even when they're not near their computer. As with any video conferencing software, you can schedule your appointments in advance and allow guests to make other plans around the meeting time. Quick file sharing is a huge benefit that allowed us to turn GoTo Meeting into a virtual workspace for collaborating on projects.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Screen sharing in GoTo Meeting can be really tedious, because since there is no way to control the resolution, sometimes it gets too blurry and pixelated. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, so it's easy to get caught up in a meeting and lose track of time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With this tool you can send meeting invites to your foreign team, connections have always been great and it is extremely easy to use, I have had users who have never used GoToMeeting and can connect in seconds. You should definitely try it.

What differentiates GoTo Meeting from other similar products?

i think this must be Gotomeetings annotation tools. For me personally, i believe that GotoMeeting has the best annotation tools of any meeting software i have ever used. The presence of quality annotation tools like markup pen, laser pointer, highlighter tool etc helps to make presentations during team meetings, a lot more collaborative.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

i am impressed with my mobile conferencing experience on GoTomeeting. i am able to join team meetings from anywhere , while having access to unique data saving and bandwidth reduction features to make my video meeting experience on mobile devices as flawless as they can possibly be.

What do you dislike most about this product?

With Gotomeetings , it will never be about the lack of features, because Gotomeeting does provide a set of features that are unmatched by any substitute video conference tool. The major drawback of Gotomeeting is how easy it is for users to get lost , with the number of features available. This is mainly due to an average user interface design/ user experience flow on the mobile and desktop applications.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Gotomeeting probably provides everything a team ,department etc needs to function , as far as video conferencing is concerned. It definitely has its weakness regarding intuitiveness but this obviously is a bottleneck to be overcome as a user gains more experience with the Gotomeeting platform.

What differentiates GoTo Meeting from other similar products?

Gotomeeting has the best call-in feature of any other video calling platform that I have been privileged to use. Leveraging on this feature, i am not required to directly call a toll-number , in order to join team meetings. Rather, Gotomeetings call me feature calls me on my mobile number and i only need to accept the call , to join my team meetings.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Gotomeeting automatically records and transcribes my online meetings. For me , it is not just about the fact that it transcribes my meetings , but mainly about the accuracy of the transcription .

What do you dislike most about this product?

The absence of a whiteboarding feature, is what i see as Gotomeeting's major point of disadvantage.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is not the most feature rich video platform , that i have encountered. But its ability to get the basics right , in terms of intuitiveness and seamless video conferencing experience, is why i will advocate for it.
