Google Meet stands out for its seamless integration with the entire Google Workspace ecosystem. The ability to jump into a meeting straight from Calendar, Docs, or Gmail without needing to switch platforms makes collaboration super convenient.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Google Meet is how effortlessly it integrates with my everyday tools, especially Google Calendar and Gmail. Scheduling and jumping into meetings feels seamless, which saves a lot of time and hassle. One underrated feature I love is the subtle in-call messages, it’s a gentle way to share quick info or links without interrupting the flow of conversation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Honestly, one thing I wish Google Meet handled better is background noise. Even with noise cancellation, it sometimes picks up random sounds that can be distracting especially during group calls. Also, the lack of a built-in note-taking or collaborative whiteboard tool feels like a missed opportunity, especially for brainstorming sessions. It would be great to have more in-call tools to stay productive without switching between tabs or apps.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're after a no-fuss video tool that integrates seamlessly with your calendar and email, Google Meet is a great pick. It’s especially handy for teams already using Google Workspace. Just make sure you have a quiet space or a good mic, since background noise can sneak in sometimes. For more interactive sessions, I will suggest combining it with a whiteboard or doc-sharing tool but for smooth, straightforward meetings, it’s one of the best out there.
