What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?

Google Forms is highly reliable and easy to use. For most people, it is also free. For these reasons, it is ubiquitous.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Google Forms offers good branching and high reliability. It's easy to create pre-filled urls, and Forms natively connects to Sheets, which is itself an automation workhorse.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The design is uninspiring, instantly recognizable as a Google Form. Worse, the question types available are basic and not always sufficient.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

There are some great alternatives out there if you're willing to pay a few dollars.

What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?

Google Forms has been a brilliant tool in providing us with a platform to collect information from clients and employees and get their feedback in different ways, it has allowed us to research issues that might have arisen during the past months or the positive and negative experiences when dealing with incidents. The ability to collect data in real time and the integration with the spreadsheets has been some of the most positive things about this tool, and the fact that it’s on the Google Suite makes it so intuitive and easy to work in.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that Google Forms offers many different options to put out your questions, the customization levels are incredible and we are able to create a proper survey that adjusts to the kind of research we want to achieve, whether it be from clients or employees, making the survey really adaptive and we are able to present our ideas in a professional way. I think that its most positive aspect is that you can create the survey, polish it, and analyze the results in the same page, creating graphs for you to understand the public better, and if needed, you can integrate it with Spreadsheets and it will extract all the results of the survey cleanly

What do you dislike most about this product?

Google Forms is a great tool to create surveys that go straight to the point, but this can also become a limitation depending on the type of work that you want to do. For example, sometimes the platform is too simple that you can’t really do much when it comes to branding the surveys and making them look like they’re from your business, it really lacks a lot of useful tools like colors and fonts and the branding features are not as consistent as other tools, even though you have the option to add the brand banner, it gets to a point where it becomes limited.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you plan on using Google Forms as your main tool to collect feedback, there are a lot of positive and negative things about it that you should know before using it, I think that it will benefit you if you can get past the lack of variety of templates and lack of proper branding, it can work a lot for you if you wish to collect information quickly and have a real time analysis of all the questions, so I would recommend it to any business that needs to collect something in a simple and quick manner.
