What differentiates Firebase from other similar products?

Analytics, authentication, database, crash reporting, push notifications, AB testing, it's all part of the some ecosystem and works out of the box. I am not just spending time integrating tools or fixing data gaps between systems. From my perspective, that means fewer blockers between idea and execution.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There's no long setup phase or heavy planning needed. I can plug in authentication, spin up a database, add analytics and suddenly I have a working product instead of just a concept. That kind of speed changes how I think as a product manager because I am not waiting on layers of backend work to validate something.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's fast at begging but it becomes hard to stay flexible later.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go with Firebase if speed and simplicity are your top priorities right now. Just make sure you're not trading away flexibility you might need later.

Firebase provides us with clear visibility in user journeys from first open to conversion. It automatically collects events to reduce manual tracking work. The dashboard presents insights in a simple, easy-to-digest form. Firebase helps us identify which features drive the most engagement.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I rely on Firebase Analytics daily to understand exactly how users interact with our product across different features. The real-time event tracking helps me quickly see how new releases perform after launch. I appreciate how easy it is to set up analytics without heavy engineering effort.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I love working with Firebase and do not dislike any feature of it yet.

I recommend Firebase Analytics to teams wanting quick, reliable insights without complex setup. Start with clearly defined business goals before setting up events to avoid collecting unnecessary or confusing data.

Firebase stands out from other backend platforms thanks to its deep integration with Google services, real-time capabilities (like Firestore and Realtime Database), seamless cross-platform SDKs, and a unified suite that covers everything from hosting and authentication to analytics and machine learning—all without needing to manage infrastructure.

-Data is reflected in realtime, no delay at at all -Provides SDK for user authentication & session managment -Easy configuration with mobile apps and webapp -Easy to integrate with other GCP products & services -Provides backend as a Service

What do you dislike most about this product?

-Only thing I do not like is the pricing. I think pricing can be more competitive as right now its bit high
