What differentiates Deltek Vantagepoint from other similar products?

While it is ERP, it's very specialised and intended for project based organisations, or at the very least project activities with modules supportive in that particular way

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

For running a series of projects as we did, Vantagepoint provided everything we required of ERP solution, with appropriately designed modules, solid integration capabilities and appropriate for hybrid implementation (cloud and on premises)

What do you dislike most about this product?

While it is ERP, beyond project managing it becomes less so, UI should be improved and adapted for better visibility, reporting had glitches with filtering and it was a pain to ensure full implementation as initial vendor support was lacking

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Excellent ERP facsimile for project based organisations (NGOs, foundations)

What differentiates Deltek Vantagepoint from other similar products?

Vantagepoint is ERP dedicated almost exclusively to project menagment processes with little use as general ERP solution.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is perfect to use in organizations that have a lot of project based activities because the solution end its modules (HR, CR) are focused on various project stages, it is easy to use and it is very straightforward

What do you dislike most about this product?

Client support and initial implementation could benefit from better vendor involvement

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If the company deals mostly with projects and it is medium sized, Vantagepoint will cover all its needs.
