Human resources management with Ceridian Dayforce

What differentiates Dayforce from other similar products?

We use Ceridian Dayforce for the constant management and order of our human resources department, obtaining a series of benefits that allow us to keep these issues in order, verifying the workforce, performances in even recruiting new employees by verifying their skills through the platform, which helps us save a lot of time and keep our hiring processes optimized.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Payroll and the centralization of different functions in the tool facilitate the work and keep our human staff aware of bonuses, tasks and pending activities which brings as a benefit the increase of productivity among them. It integrates perfectly well with other management systems which deepens our work and provides us with important data within the company.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Performance management sometimes has errors and does not provide real data on billable time of workers which has led us to do it manually, management reports could be more complete, we need much more evaluation data from our staff. Customer support has very long wait times which is frustrating when user concerns arise. It still has a lot of room for growth, but it is a very good software.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a very scalable tool that brings a lot of productivity to companies, through its staff recruitment you can add very good employees to projects without the need to spend a lot of time searching for them, it is not possible to obtain customized reports so you have to resort to third parties in these cases, the cost is quite good considering the possibilities offered by the tool.

What differentiates Dayforce from other similar products?

We had two payroll systems, a time entry system, and an HRIS. We were able to integrate them into Dayforce by synchronizing our systems with our colleagues in the United States. Because we now have uniform auditing features across the board, the payroll process is significantly more efficient and precise. Furthermore, using WFM, we may utilize a flat system (no imports) for our hourly population, which decreases the possibility of mistakes even further. We will also be moving forward with the Dayforce Benefits module in the near future.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The capability of standardizing payroll, TAFW, and WFM processes across multiple global regions. This, combined with a Shared Service model, has enabled us to provide backups for our administrators who work from all over the world.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the drawbacks of Ceridian Dayforce is the FMLA and HR Incident management tools. FMLA dating that is systematic vs. manual is harder to handle. HR Incidents are a basic model that can only be maintained by HR as opposed to parts accessible to managers.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I appreciate how they are always upgrading and adding things. The way the modules interact with one another has improved significantly over time. The user interface is outstanding, and it provides an interesting environment for employees. The new 'Hub' implementation has been a huge success, and it is highly adaptable. It is very simple to use for end users.
