Easy administration, smooth integration with other products and easy scale up/down

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Smooth release of new features, easy integration and less of troubleshooting

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some documentation is not up to date. For example external metastore o sql server. As per documentation it supports only 1.2.1 version but actually it works fine on 2.3.0

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go for it and use it for big data

What differentiates Databricks Data Intelligence Platform from other similar products?

Databricks is matured when compared with competitors and is growing/evolving rapidly. Support for various languages like SQL, Python, and Scala in different packages makes a developer's life easier. It has very good integration with many version controlling tools and the partner connect feature lets you easily integrate with third-party tools like PowerBI. So all these features result in the developer's productivity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its cluster management capabilities will let you spin up a new cluster within no time. The data plots are readily available in the notebooks. The workspace is collaborative. Supports various packaging methods that let you migrate existing ones easily.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One thing I didn't like about it is the databricks secrets. It says the secrets are safe in the scopes created but I can extract them and see the content outside of the workspace.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go for it. It improves productivity and reduces maintenance costs.

The way that works with the delta format. Providing a lot of possibilities without the necessity to have a dedicated database administrator. It's also nice to talk about their flexibility

Quick learning curve and the ease of usage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some improvements need to be done regarding the cluster management.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Greater short-term investment can generate high long-term gains.
