What differentiates Databricks Data Intelligence Platform from other similar products?

East to use and simple to get the job done! Most of the technology they are relying on are open source. This provides better in depth understanding and also reduce the vendor lock-in risk.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Simple and effective. No lock-in.

What do you dislike most about this product?

UI & UX could be better. Sometime feature will be lying in plain sight but hard to recognise until documentation is read.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're trying to avoid infra headache, go for it considering extra cost overhead. But this additional cost overhead can help you build solutions faster. Once you're product is ready, you could choose to move out with minimal changes. Most of the solutions are open source.

What differentiates Databricks Data Intelligence Platform from other similar products?

Databrick has looked at all the products on the market and truly understands what is missing in a data management tool and what is a nice to have. Not only from the perspective of the end user but from all users. It has all the capabilities of products like ascend.io and various other tools but also embeds a prediction feature along with an interactive tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the ML flow experiment features. This tool gives insight on data accuracy. But also has embedded dashboarding features that really sets databrick apart from most data management coding tools.

What do you dislike most about this product?

From a data analyst perspective I have no constructive feedback to give. This tool truly reflects all the features I would love to see in a data management product and more. From workflow management, to data mining, to data visualization, I am extremely satisfied user.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend someone to comparative review PySpark, Ascend.io, alteryx, and other tools and see what competitors offer. The tool features will speak for itself.
