What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

My experience with Confluence has been really good and I think that when it comes to finding a tool for all your projects, this is the way to go, it’s great for organizing your information and sharing things with your teammates in an instant, and when it comes to the integration of it with other Atlassian products, it becomes a powerful tool that doesn’t compare to any other in terms of data transfer and synchronization. The use of Confluence in our business has also greatly improved our workflow since it has a home page and a company hub where we can see all relevant news.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite thing about Confluence is the fact that the interface has everything my team and I need for streamlining our project management. Features that are included like the whiteboards really help when it comes to collaborating and creating new ideas for next projects, and it’s a good ally when we need to extract data from other tools because the integration is easy and we can continue to generate new ideas quickly. This tool allows us to create as many projects as we want, which is one of my favorite aspects too, because we are never worried about running out of tools to work on what we need to do.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don’t like that, at the beginning, the platform seems too overwhelming, and as a new user, it was really difficult to find myself using it daily because I didn’t understand or couldn’t locate a lot of the key features that are used for project management. There are a lot of things happening in the same place, as well as too many customization features, that you can get lost in it. I also don’t like that sometimes the program slows down all of a sudden and working on it becomes difficult too, because it’ll take longer amounts of time to load the necessary information.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My recommendation for people looking to use this product is to really deep dive into the documentation and be patient when trying to learn every feature, it can take a lot of time to really see results in your usage of the application but I would consider it totally worth it for the amount of benefits that it gives you. I would also recommend it to businesses who work as teams and really need a space that can act as a centralized database..

Very easy to user and integrate. Version and access control features are awesome.

Confluence's collaboration is the most distinguishing feature among its competition. The possibility for multiple team members to make changes simultaneously is a perfect facilitator for true teamwork that can be done very quickly. Furthermore, the software has a very efficient search tool that not only helps to find the information across all spaces and pages but also ensures that no ideas are lost. The plugin's level of flexibility is unequal; you can match it to the particular style of marketing workflow.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Using the software's commenting and @mention features has brought about a pleasant change in the way quick feedback loops and decision-making have been done. Most of our emails and themes were reduced as most of the discussions and the process of approvals directly happened on the relevant Confluence pages. This not only hastened the completion of our activities but also made the decision-making process and the reasons for which the decisions were taken clearly traceable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

However, this initial adjustment was accompanied by a tough time for the team, as they had to get used to the new technology. The long-term interests, however, have been overwhelming.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

An extensive campaign center complete with the strategy document, content calendar, asset library, and stakeholder updates was developed using Confluence. This method actually had the quality creatively across the different departments, and thus it was possible for all! The Confluence integration with other tools in our marketing stack, like Jira for task management and Trello for agile marketing sprints, facilitated the workflow. Therefore, the whole system has been connected in every way, thus enabling the information to be shared and productivity to increase.
