What differentiates BMC Helix Continuous Optimization from other similar products?

The ability to live-explorer, run scripts, and patch on command is pretty good.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Patching and managing a large server estate , BSA is one-stop solution for Data Center Infrastructure support, delivery and automation tool which help in provisioning, patching, server management, IT Audit and compliance, Application deployments, code deployments, etc

What do you dislike most about this product?

The agent-based solution and console are Java-based clients. Even though we have portal option available , its a drawback to have fully functional client installed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

BladeLogic makes my administration of a variety of network equipment more efficient. There are both GUIs and CLIs for different needs, so it's very flexible and convenient. Upgrade procedures are good, as you would be able to keep all the current settings and history.
