What differentiates Bizzdesign Alfabet from other similar products?

Alfabet has all of the capabilities and feature an EA team will need. I have done many product reviews and demos of the other products and they are all chasing Alfabet. They ability to see a top-down view of the capabilities to business process through technology is unique to this product. Lastly the ability to quickly modify the front end to fit a particular role in the organization is unprecedented.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use to quickly see all of the components that make up a business capability. This viewpoint provides that high-level look that will persuade executives to the right strategic tenet and fund the projects that move the architecture to serve the business better.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think that the UX needs more drag and drop functionality. There should also be a more UX version of integration as well.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Here are my recommendations 1. Like all things EA make sure that you have executive buy in 2. Make the tool available to solution architects, system admins and business people this ensures that the information become their information not just EA information imposed on them. 3. Continuous measurable improvement. Budget for constant modification and updates to feature and functionalities that you release to the organization. 4. Implement a governance process on the data/information as well as the features so that larger aspects of EA, SDLC, Change management aspects can move forward be more integrated

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to install, configure and upload data

What do you dislike most about this product?

In self-study mode, learning is not very intuitive. Anyway, the courses offered by SoftwareAG are very good and after this training, the part of loading information and using the software is very well understood. (But you really need to receive the training)

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Just consider getting the training that sag provides
