Used for an internal app base with a vast user base on a scalable project leveraging AWS. It allowed us to use the app to track security issues and monitor widespread network usage to provide prompt upgrades. The AWS NFW was easy to roll out and use, and the online tutorials included comprehensive guidance for various deployment strategies.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Offers cross-account protection and centralized, automatic defense against DDoS attacks. Fast verification and easy purchase are made possible by cloud-based technologies. To enhance usage, it can be linked to other AWS services. Robust connectivity to AWS and other cloud services and a fully customizable UI. The documentation for basic and complicated configurations is complete. AWS is easy to install. It naturally fits our infrastructure because we solely rely on AWS, which was also built there.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some monitoring hooks were more challenging to use than those in previous solutions. Eventually, documentation would occasionally be outdated with the most recent releases. The definition of fine-grained application controls could be more precise when compared to other traditional FW vendor solutions. It would be convenient if more vendors could offer rulesets and layer seven rules for the NFW.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

According to reports, the AWS network firewall addressed the project. We started to increase security and a few internal technological requirements. Immersion Day and other training provided by AWS help with adoption. We may have found more cost-effective alternatives when we looked at other items, but this one allowed us to do the task quickly and affordably.

My favorite aspect of AWS Systems Manager is the comprehensive set of automation capabilities it provides, With the automation capabilities, I can quickly and easily automate common operational tasks, deploy and configure applications, manage patching and software updates, and execute commands remotely on EC2 instances or on-premises servers, This makes it easier for me to manage my AWS environment and save time in the long run.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can take some time to get used to the interface and figure out how to set up and configure your AWS environment, However, once you get the hang of it, AWS Systems Manager is a great tool for managing and automating your AWS infrastructure.

My recommendation for someone considering AWS Systems Manager is to take your time to learn the interface and get familiar with the different features and capabilities, Take advantage of the automation capabilities to simplify and streamline the management and operation of your AWS environment, Explore the different integrations available to extend the capabilities of AWS Systems Manager and make it even more powerful.
