What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
It has a wide selection of instance types optimized for different use cases. This includes instances optimized for compute, memory, storage, and those with hardware acceleration such as GPUs for machine learning workloads.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to quickly start and stop instances, and right-size my compute resources based on the actual demand of my applications, is a huge benefit.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Although AWS provides robust documentation and an active community, navigating and optimizing EC2 for desired performance and cost efficiency can require a significant level of expertise and often active management.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Learn about instance types You should familiarize yourself with the various instance types available in EC2 and their specific use cases to ensure you choose the right ones for your applications.

Low cost virtual machines

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
EC2 is low cost as compared to Azure. Although the features are same.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Simple dashboard to manage my instances, performance and cost.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Help section in nit very detailed, customer support should be increased.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you dont have to integrate with MS services this is a better option.

Configurable and reliable VM Compute

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
AWS EC2 provides multiple configurations and options. Spot instances and reserves instances can be used based on requirements.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
AWS has largest number of could services and EC2 integrates with all of them seamlessly. We use spot instances for non production workloads and that saves a ton of money.
What do you dislike most about this product?
if we use powerful machines all the times, cost becomes really high and more than on Prem servers.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Analyse your requirements and capacity needs and choose the right VM for cost optimisations,
