What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The user interface is very friendly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are very few features that I dislike. Being able to pull any attribute into a column view would be nice.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend trying it as it will likely greatly enhance customer experience.

What differentiates Akeneo Product Cloud from other similar products?

Based on our experience, Akeneo has implemented many new features which we initially had to customise, making the solution easier to use natively. We have suggested some features, many of which we have been consulted on to gain an understanding of our requirements, and these have been implemented and meet our expectations. They are quick to act on new trends and advancements in the product management space and, to my knowledge, were one of the first to integrate AI tools into the PIM natively.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Akeneo is extremely easy to use and configure, and the only real training required when implementing the product with end-users was on our internal processes and implementation, rather than how to use the system itself. It provides a 360 degree view of our products and allows us to update our channels in the way that we require.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One area for improvement has been the workflows, where this has been a bit more complex to manage, but there have been some recent improvements to this feature which have recently been released to us, which I believe will solve the issues we've been experiencing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Akeneo has worked for us, in our context. It provides us with the set of features we need to create, update and syndicate our products across our various channels and at a cost we believe is palatable.

What differentiates Akeneo Product Cloud from other similar products?

Akeneo combines an intuitive enrichment workspace with a genuinely open platform. Its marketplace connectors, flexible data-modeling for complex variant structures, and fast-evolving AI roadmap set it apart. Most important, the vendor behaves like a partner—co-designing features, offering transparent roadmaps, and responding quickly when we hit environmental snags.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The collaboration between our merchandisers and engineers inside a single, well-organized UI is game-changing. Bulk edit, completeness dashboards, and powerful APIs let us enrich thousands of SKUs rapidly, while Akeneo’s support team proactively suggests improvements and proofs-of-concept for new use cases.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It’s all too easy to let the configuration sprawl—duplicate families, redundant attributes, and tangled workflows pile up quickly. Unwinding that complexity becomes a time-consuming, detail-heavy effort. The good news is that Akeneo recognizes this pain point for scaling teams and is rolling out new tooling and best-practice guides to help prune an overgrown PIM into a well-structured garden.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Invest time up front in data governance—define variant axes, naming standards, and ownership before loading data. Engage Akeneo’s professional services early for architecture reviews, and launch with a focused pilot catalog to build momentum. Finally, staff both IT and business owners; the platform shines when tech stability and content quality are equally championed.
